Membership Policy
1. Membership Application
By completing and submitting your application for membership to The Wellness Place, you agree to be bound by these Membership Rules.
All membership applications are reviewed internally, and acceptance is at the sole discretion of The Wellness Place.
Our Membership Committee meets periodically and makes the final decision on all applications.
You may withdraw your application at any time prior to approval by contacting our team. If your application is accepted, you will receive a Welcome to The Wellness Place email. Your membership will commence on the date this confirmation is sent.
2. Proposing New Members
Members are welcome to recommend friends, family, or colleagues for membership, provided they believe the applicant aligns with the ethos and values of The Wellness Place.
All proposed members must complete their own application and will be reviewed independently.
A recommendation does not guarantee acceptance.
3. Membership Term and Renewal
Membership is granted for a minimum period of one year, regardless of whether payment is made monthly, quarterly, or annually.
Membership renewal is reviewed annually and is not automatic. Renewals are assessed based on conduct, adherence to house rules, and alignment with the culture of The Wellness Place. The decision of the Membership Committee is final.
4. Membership Records and Personal Details
To ensure a seamless and secure experience, members must provide up-to-date personal details and a clear photograph for our membership records. By becoming a member, you consent to The Wellness Place holding and using your personal information and photograph solely in connection with your membership. Members are responsible for keeping their contact and payment details current via their membership account or by notifying our team.
5. Membership Fees and Payment
Upon approval or renewal, membership fees become payable within 7 days.
By providing your payment details, you authorise The Wellness Place to charge the applicable membership fees in accordance with your selected payment plan. Membership fees may be reviewed or adjusted at our discretion; members will be notified in advance of any changes.
Failure to pay any membership fee or instalment within seven days will result in suspension of access to The Wellness Place and may lead to termination of membership.
6. Resignation or Cancellation of Membership
If you choose to resign your membership, or if your membership is cancelled part-way through the membership year, the full annual membership fee remains payable, regardless of your chosen payment schedule.
Refunds, credits, or exceptions are not guaranteed and will be considered only at the discretion of The Wellness Place.
7. Membership Access and Cards
Members must present their physical membership identification upon entry to The Wellness Place and may be asked to verify their membership when booking or accessing services, treatments, or recovery equipment.
Membership is strictly personal. Allowing a non-member to use your membership or access privileges may result in immediate suspension or termination of your membership. Lost or stolen membership credentials must be reported promptly.
8. Rights and Privileges of Membership
Membership grants access to the facilities, services, and privileges offered by The Wellness Place in accordance with your membership tier and these rules.
Membership does not confer any ownership, proprietary, or transferable rights in relation to The Wellness Place, its premises, or its assets. All members are expected to conduct themselves respectfully and in a manner that supports a calm, safe, and restorative environment for others.
*These Membership Policies supersede and replace any previous membership terms, policies, or communications issued by The Wellness Place.
